Road Trains

I'm reading a really interesting book right now about Australia. (See the what I'm reading section to the right). One of the things that is mentioned is something called a "road train". Basically these are semi trucks with multiple trailers hooked up to them, and they can get up to 150 feet long, or so I'm told. The idea is that the distances are so great between towns that they need to maximize the capacity to make it worth the effort. All I know is that I wouldn't want to be in their way. I'm no lawyer but I'm guessing that that much weight moving at speed is something to be reckoned with.
