The Eyes Have It

Have you heard all the buzz recently about how Lasik isn't always as effective as advertised? Apparently there was a lawsuit recently regarding how the risks aren't always made fully aware to the people before hand. At least I think it was something about that. Even without that I'd be pretty nervous about having eye surgery in general. Thankfully I have 20/13 vision and don't need it but people like my wife have to make the decision everyday. When it comes down to it, our contacts really so annoying that you would take even a 1% chance (I'm making that up for point of conversation, I have no idea of the actual potential risk) of blindness or permanent eye pain/damage to get rid of them? It's a tough choice to make.
