Logistics?

What kind of jobs do logistics experts do? I really don't know much about this. I heard the term and really had to ask myself if I knew what it even meant. I guess it's probably just planning and coordinating, but what specifically? Or is it simply not specific? I don't know. What kind of stuff would you find on logistics resumes? Would it be vague or specific? Does anyone out there have a title that includes the word "logisitic"? What kind of job is it? I'm just curious.
