Metabolism
I definitely believe that the best way to lose weight is to exercise in a way that increases your metabolism while at the same time switching to eat mostly healthy foods. The best appetite suppressant is a goal. Not too many people get fat eating broccoli and working out. The idea is that you need a sustainable lifestyle. If you try to hit it with a quick fix (diet pills, fad diets), the stats show that you will probably go back to your old ways once you lose the weight, and therefore it will all come back. Without that foundational paradigm shift, it just isn't going to be permanent, and isn't that the point?
