Tough Decision

Our church is forming a work and witness trip for next summer. I have never been on one and want to go at some point but we won't be done with baby step 2 before this trip happens. In the old days I think I would have just shoe-horned it into our budget and made it happen, and although that was my first instinct, I ultimately decided that I should wait until we are debt free. Barring a directive from above that I should be there, I think that that is the best decision. Now I know about as much about the location as I do about bridesmaid dresses but regardless of that, I really would have enjoyed going but now just isn't the right time.
