We had our first experience today with trying to go somewhere with all three kids. It didn't go too badly but Kylie was a little upset at having to sit in the back of the van and Kerrigan was pretty upset at NOT getting to sit in the back of the van. Despite this Kylie was not willing to switch seats with Kerrigan. Giving her sister something that she wants just isn't in the cards yet.
Brock slept through the whole ordeal. In fact he is still sleeping in his car seat now, albeit in the house. Speaking of his car seat, I still really like it, but the one issue we have had is that it doesn't lock into it's base very easily. You have to spend a decent bit of time pushing on it from various spots to get it to click in solidly. The market research I did never mentioned this but I'm just hoping that we will get the hang of it.
Now that we have three I can foresee spending more time at home as a family. I can't even think about trying to take all three someplace by myself. I have no idea how my wife is going to manage it when I go back to work, but I'm sure she'll surprise me, she usually does.
